Cooper Reed has a fairly relaxed life for someone who lives in LA. He’s no celebrity—just the guy who makes sundaes at the Dreamy Creamery, and that’s the way he likes it. The highlight of every week is the beautiful guy who turns up and orders a sundae with rainbow sprinkles. Cooper still isn’t sure if that’s a code, because he has a huge crush and the hot guy is terrible at flirting.

Drew Tanner, it turns out, is an original California dreamer. He’s as wholesome as apple pie and twice as sweet, a real-life Disney Prince at Disneyland. But while Drew’s head is in the clouds, Cooper’s feet are firmly on the ground, and their different outlooks might be more than their new relationship can take.

Drew and Cooper
An awesome feeling good story
Two sweet gentle guys....
Cooper working at a ice cream shop. Making ice in all sorts of flavors. A few times a week there comes a beautiful guy who orders the strangest mixture scoops of ice possible and always with.....rainbow sprinkles....) Drew.... he fancies Cooper only he is a bit shy.

They flirt and then at long last they have a date...
Drew works as an actor at Disney and takes Cooper with him to the park.
It turns out they fit extremely well together in all the possible ways. They are easy and sweet and hot together. Both have a different schedule and both try to spend as much time together as possible... The love for each other is getting stronger.

A miscommunication and misunderstanding is the reason they don't see each other for a couple of days and then Drew has to go away for three weeks....

Both have to learn to communicate and luckily the love is strong enough

Really nice short read. The story is in the right proportion to the length.
The writing was smooth and good put down. I enjoyed it very much. When you love a good, short sweet read with very nice personalities in it, this one is for you

3-3.5 Stars

This is a sweet feel-good story, just as you'd expect from the great title! Cooper and Drew are both very likable, sweet guys and their story will make your heart happy!

Cooper works at an ice cream shop creating amazing ice cream treats. Drew is a price, well he is at Disneyland at least, and he's a regular customer at Dreamy Creamery, known for ordering odd combinations. Drew and Cooper both have crushes on each other and once they finally act on it, these two are adorable together. They go on fantastic dates together filled with old fashioned romance and just seem like the perfect match. While Cooper seems content working his job and going through the motions, Drew has dreams of being an actor and looks towards the future. The two different personalities do cause some tension between these the two men, but that's part of the journey to true love, working through the differences.

Rainbow Sprinkles really is a feel-good read with low angst, that kind of book that will have you smiling pretty much all the way through. Cooper and Drew are just adorable, even if they seem to have to fumble a bit to get it right, they definitely do. Definitely a go-to for a quick, easy read that will leave you craving some ice cream!

*I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I’ve only read one other book by this author previously-The Impossible Boy-and after that, Rainbow Sprinkles feels like it’s on a totally different spectrum. Sprinkles is lighthearted and sweet with a bit of heat on the side, not anything like what I would have expected from this author. That doesn’t mean I didn’t like this story-it just means that it was much different than what I thought I might be getting.

Cooper doesn’t have much direction in his life-but that’s okay, he actually is happy this way. He knows eventually he’ll end up where he wants to be, and he’s fine with enjoying the ride until he gets there. Drew has a bit more focus in his life, though he’s still early on in the process of getting where he wants to go as well. It was sweet watching the two of them slowly develop their relationship, and while their dates may seem a little corny and old-fashioned, I thought they actually suited the two of them.

The fact that Drew has some direction in his life leads to him getting a little frustrated with Cooper, and then to a small bit of drama between them, but for the most part Rainbow Sprinkles is a low-angst story. It’s a fairly quick read, and does well as a way to lift your spirits in a short amount of time.

4 stars for Rainbow Sprinkles, and I think M/M romance fans will enjoy this easygoing, put-a-smile-on-your-face story. Even as sweet and light as this book is, it’s still meant for readers 18+ thanks to a nice bit of steam in Drew and Cooper’s intimate scenes.
Although it was short with having less than 100 pages the story had all I love. I already read The Impossible Boy by Anna Martin and this is as sweet as the full novel but it is topped by the sweetness both, Cooper but especially Drew, show. From the first to the last page it is sparkling. The fact that it takes place in California and has Disneyland as a location predestined it to be overly sweet, the fact that Cooper is working as an ice cream vendor in a shop called Dreamy Creamery (what a name XD) already revealed it can only be sweet and a bit emotional. And it was.

The get together of both guys is so adorable, you nearly squeel but don't worry, there is a slight drama at the end of the book which gives the whole thing it's spark, it's sprinkle, but it leads into the HEA, towards the Rainbow Sprinkles. 3

I won't tell to much of the story because it is so sweet, hilarious and with a bunch of character you only can love so that I recommendy this wholeheartly.

5 out of 5 stars for this very different story by Anna Martin, at least if you read - as I did - The Impossible Boy - before. ) I can't wait to read more stories by her. )
