When rock band The Unlikelys suffer a van breakdown and are forced to stay for two nights in the quiet, unassuming Cotswolds village of Chipping Campden, lead singer Rosie Karena gets much more than she bargained for - an unlikely love affair to match the name of her band - with shy, geeky local Michael Harper, a young man with secret ambitions who is forced to finally stand up for what he believes in and emerge out of his shell in this charming and delightful short story romance.
Michael is attracted to Rosie’s unique, bubbly personality and her intriguing image, impressed by the fact that she seemingly doesn’t care what people think of her, and is pursuing her own way in life, following her own desires. Rosie is attracted to Michael’s personality, appreciating the fact that he is pleasant and sweet to her; he is different and unusual, but not in the same way as her, obviously intelligent but with hidden talents just bubbling under the surface. It seems like an unlikely match made in heaven, but the quickly blossoming friendship and love between the two does not come easily.
Rosie is already tied up in a tumultuous relationship with Zack, the lead guitarist in their band, and Michael too has his own personal difficulties – namely his deeply Christian father and judgemental mother, who have high expectations he doesn’t feel he can achieve.
Ultimately, Rosie must decide whether to stay with Zack or follow her heart and be with Michael, which will probably result in the break up of her band, at least temporarily. Is she willing to make that sacrifice for the sake of love? Simultaneously, Michael must decide whether he has the confidence and the courage to stand up to his parents and let them know his mind, to grow out of his shell and make that final step to getting to where he wants to be in life. Will the two of them leave Chipping Campden together hand in hand? Or will they choose to stay?
The Unlikelys is a contemporary romance with a difference, and is sure to warm the hearts of all who read it.

Not a usual story of love but destiny at it's best. A romance story uniquely written with beautiful scenes, delightful character personalities and some hot passion between Rosie, the lead singer of a band and Michael . The author has done a great job in developing a romance between two people who are from two very different worlds but which seems to work. I don't want to spoil by revealing too much all I can say for sure, is that you will be impressed and the story will certainly have your full attention, as it is brilliantly written. I definitely recommend it!Product details

This is really 'unlikely' that Rosie, a rock band singer, would fall for Michael, a small town hick. But it happens in this short, sweet romance. The story is well written, with a happy ending, but I wish that it had gone on to further develop this unlikely relationship.
Its a sweet story of love and it shows a lot of dimensions to the love and personality of each character in the story. The author was able to highlight the characters strengths and weaknesses.A sweet story that will keep you turning the pages to see what they will do . I must admit that I am fascinated by this novel
It is a lovely romantic story. I like the way the author telling the story. The characters fit well with the story. I really hope the couple in this book can have a good ending when I read. This book can take you away from the busy, stress life to a warm, peaceful world.
Aptly titled, the story takes the reader through the chance meeting and unlikely mutual attraction felt by the two main character Rosie and Michael. Zack is the third – the bad guy. It’s interestingly written and will hold the attention of even the reader not so interested in romantic novels. Rosie rocks and Michael in a classical music lover but the opposites are attracted. A good fun read.

I think the writer has an incredible style of composing story and I can see some genuine potential in it. The book is exceptionally elegantly composed and I delighted in understanding it.
This book truly inspired me. Most importantly I am happy it didn't dwell in the subject of erotica, because it is not my cup of tea.
There's obvious chemistry between the characters - Michael and Rosie, but Zack, who happens to be dating Rosie, is a pain in the neck. It's a refreshing romance that reminds one of pure, innocent love without the sexual nuances that are often found in today's romances. There is communication and dialogue between the two leads and it's really a case of getting to know one another which makes them grow in fondness of each other. A good read altogether!
It is an unlikely romance between Rosie, lead singer of rock band The Unlikelys and Michael Harper. It is an interesting and inspiring story like other Boston series. This fiction is also based on normal people with normal lives, coming together by chance. Despite having been brought up in a religious background, faith and religion wasn't Michael interested at. He was more enlightened by music and art. He met Rosie by chance, while she was girlfriend of another guy, Zack. They both got attracted to each-other as their tastes were the same. Fate played the game.
